Hello,
My name is Bill and we launched this site nearly a decade ago to help provide consumers with common sense advice on getting a good night's sleep.

What Works for Me

Everyone is different. And what works best for one person may not work as well for the next. I've found eating healthy, daily exercise and relaxation music works well for me, but things like stress or stimulants or marriage problems or physical issues can hold many people back from a good night's rest.

Online Ads & User Tracking

Like most successful websites this site also carries ads. Currently we work with 3 partners to help us monetize the site & offset the costs of running it:

  • Amazon - affiliate-related recommendations of products which I have found helpful in my personal life
  • Media.net - contexutally relevant text ads

In addition our site leverages an on site analytics tool named Mint and a third party web analytics tool named Clicky to help us track trends and further improve the site.

Contacting Your Doctor

Please note that while I try to respond to any and all emails received, if you have an important medical issue you should immediately contact a medical doctor. A doctor who sees you in person and specializes in sleep health related issues can give you important personalized medical advice which can't easily be done over the web for free by a stranger who doesn't see you in person and can not visually see your state & hear your story about what you have tried and what works for you.
